Very disreputable business, in my experience. Refused to give me the VIR after my car failed inspection so I could see what needed to be repaired in order to pass. Mike stated to me that the state computers were down when I went in for the third time to pick up the VIR. I called the DMV right after leaving the shop and was informed that the computers were NOT down. They told me I needed to have certain things fixed before they could put a sticker on it, but found out after taking my car to another mechanic that they were trying to have parts replaced that didn’t need replacing. They broke the knob that releases the hood and failed to tell me. I found out later that day when I took the car to another mechanic that it was missing. It had been there earlier that day because I’d had to have a new battery put in before I brought it to Autocare plus. \r\nI am filing a complaint with the DMV and with BBB. \r\nIt seems, judging by a few of the reviews I’ve read, that I’m not the only one to have had this kind of bad experience with them. They advertise “honesty, reliability and good customer service” but they are everything BUT that!
