This is Restore Collision Center and I would like to address the complaints listed by Shawn on 4/8/13, Amy 7/17/13 and Judy on 8/23/13.\r\n\r\nFirst, Shawn is a fictious posting. We only repaired one Pontiac G6 and that owner was contacted and found to be very satisfied. No insurance company has ever called, written or contacted me with any complaints.\r\n\r\nSecond, Amy. Amy did complain about the color of the inner trunk lining on her mustang. We couldn’t correct it within the week she left it here, but we would have taken care of it for her. She never brought it back. However, I will note, she received several awards on that vehicle from the work we performed. In additiona, we received several plaques from her and the Mustang club before and after that time. In regards to their truck, we told her husband many times we didn’t think it was worth fixing. He asked us to try and we put it on the the frame machine several times, cut and welded it in a few places. We even tried to get him to purchase a better Ford truck that we had. Many times we told him it wasn’t worth it, but he insisted he just wanted it fixed well enough to use as a trash truck. Many times we told him it was totally messed up and wanted him to come into the shop and work with us. The amount they paid us for all the work we did up to the point they picked it up. \r\n\r\nJudy, 8/23/13 – This falcon was originally only supposed to be for a nice paint job. We were told that it was ready to be primed and painted. When we got the vehicle it had many rust, rot and holes in the fenders, trunk, quaters and lower doors. We told them it would take a lot more time, and that it would cost additional money. Yes, a restoration takes a long time. But the car is beautiful and I have many pictures and many people who watched the progress. \r\n\r\nStill, out of almost 2000 repairs that this shop has completed, I can count on one hand the customers who we just couldn’t satisfy. We are very accomodating and we war

Restoration of 66 ford falcon

Sure wished I had seen Shawn’s review before I decided to take our 66 ford falcon to Restore! Took the car there in May 2011 – today as of August 23, 2013 – yes 2013 we might be getting the car tomorrow. Only the body is done. After so many times of emailing, calling and stopping in only to get excuse after excuse – lie after lie. Haven’t seen the end product yet but really at this point and over 2 years later really don’t care if it is perfect. When you say 2 to 3 weeks and the car would be completely restored in perfect condition and it takes this long – months of the car sitting without being worked!!! The car should be completely restored at this point but because it has been in your shop for sooooo long, we now can start the rest of the restoration to the car. (That’s if we get it tomorrow).

Our truck had been there for 2.5 years without them finishing the job. We were paying for work out of pocket. They got half the money during this time. We finally gave up and had our truck towed out of there. Turns out the partial work they did do was horrible. The frame is still bent. Another body shop told us the truck was not worth fixing. So now we are out $1000 and our truck needs to be junked. \r\n\r\nAnother time they painted the inside of my show Mustang trunk lid the wrong color. I took it back to get them to fix it and after a week I gave up and went to pick up my car. \r\n\r\nI would rather attempt the body work myself then let this bunch of unprofessionals touch another car of mine. We are considering hiring a lawyer. \r\n\r\nStay far far away from this place.

I took my Pontiac G6 there. The repair was awful. The insurance company paid for a new door but when I took it to a different shop they said that the door was full of filler. I have filed a dispute with my insurance company. The body lines were non existed where the filler was. The door also does not shut properly. I give this shop a very poor rating on the work. Also the vehicle was 3 days late on my return date. I had to pay for my rental car because they were late! I would never recommend this shop and I would scrap my car before I took it back there again!
